Deprived of the poll; lopped, as a tree having the top take off.
Cropped; clipped; in addition, bald; shaven.
Having no horns or antlers: noting a stag or any other deer which have cast its antlers, or a hornless breed of cattle, or an animal with lost its horns or whose horns have already been eliminated: as, a polled cow. Also referred to as, in Scotland, dodded.
