    • A white crystalline nitrogenous substance, obtained indirectly because of the action of cyanogen on aniline, and regarded as an anilide of oxamic acid; -- called also phenyl oxamide.
    • A crystalline substance, NH2.OC.CO.NHC6H5, which melts at 224° C. formed when cyaniline is decomposed by hydrochloric acid. Also called phenyloxamide.
