A liquid oil made from animal fats (esp. beef fat) by isolating the more part of the solid fat or stearin, by crystallization. Its primarily a combination of olein and palmitin with a few little stearin.
An artificial butter created by emulsifying a fatty oil with additional or less milk-and-water; it had been previously made predominantly from animal fats, however now is manufactured predominantly or exclusively from veggie natural oils, occasionally mixed with pet fats.
