    • A suffix, just like -or, with a preceding vowel, representing a kind produced from Latin -āt-or. Instances are savior, warrior, etc., and currior, curriour, etc., today currier, etc. In some words the termination -ior, -iour is replaced for the same suffix of other source, such as havior, behavior.
