    • A dense igneous stone that is made up primarily of olivine and it is a source of magnesium.
    • A type of igneous stone with a coarse-grained or phaneritic surface.
    • A rock consisting basically of a crystalline granular size of olivin with chromite or picotite, containing additionally usually more or less of various other nutrients, alteration products associated with the olivin. Dunite seems to be regularly more or less changed into serpentine.
