• Any idea which can be susceptible to the process of conversion; so named in its regards to it self as converted, thereafter procedure its termed the converse.
• Any proposition that is at the mercy of the process of transformation; -- so-called with its relation to itself as transformed, thereafter procedure it is termed the converse. See converse, letter. (reasoning).
• what is usually to be transformed; particularly, in reasoning, a proposition which will be or perhaps is becoming transformed by conversion; the premise of the immediate inference of transformation. See transformation, 2.
