Pisano, Nicola or Niccolò 1220-1284? Italian sculptor noted for incorporating ancient and French Gothic designs. His works range from the hexagonal pulpit for the Baptistry in Pisa. Nicola's child Giovanni (1245?-1314?), a sculptor and designer, created the Church associated with Franciscans in Naples (1268).
