An extension associated with great toe, occasionally with fanning associated with other feet, in response to stroking regarding the sole of foot. Its a standard response in infants, however it is usually involving a disturbance associated with the pyramidal system in children and adults. Also referred to as Babinski sign, Babinski's indication.
